Coneix el projecte WaysTUP!<\/a>, que vam publicar fa uns mesos, us explic\u00e0vem en qu\u00e8 consisteix el <a href=\"https:\/\/waystup.eu\/\">projecte WaysTUP!<\/a> i el paper que hi t\u00e9 l\u2019AMB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doncs b\u00e9, a inicis d\u2019octubre vam poder visitar la planta pilot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perseobiotech.com\/\">Perseo Biotechnology<\/a>, que permet transformar residus en bioetanol. Aquest biocombustible \u00e9s un tipus d\u2019alcohol que es pot obtenir de diverses fonts riques en cel\u00b7lulosa, mid\u00f3 i sucre, normalment cereals (bioetanol de 1a generaci\u00f3). Instal\u00b7lacions de Perseo Biotechnology, l&#8217;Alc\u00fadia (Val\u00e8ncia)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Des de l\u2019AMB, enviem peri\u00f2dicament aquest rebuig de paper procedent de la fracci\u00f3 resta tractada a l\u2019Ecoparc 4, a la planta pilot de l\u2019Alc\u00fadia (Val\u00e8ncia). Quan aquest material arriba a les instal\u00b7lacions de Perseo, els treballadors separen els materials pl\u00e0stics o altres impureses que pugui haver-hi i trituren el paper. Tot seguit, el paper triturat s\u2019hidrolitza, fermenta i se n&#8217;obt\u00e9 bioetanol avan\u00e7at, que es purifica per destil\u00b7laci\u00f3. Aix\u00f2 vol dir que, amb aquest sistema de tractament, no nom\u00e9s estar\u00edem reduint la quantitat de rebuig produ\u00eft sin\u00f3 que donar\u00edem un alt valor afegit a aquest residu.
